  I am just a man!

I believe that we all have limitless potential and within us is this amazing desire to be our absolute best for those that are most important in our lives including our spouses, family, employer & team. 

I have been married to a woman I do not deserve since June of 2002! We have four amazing children! I began my career in insurance in August 2004 as an agent for NC Farm Bureau. I graduated from ECU in December of 2005 with a BSBA with my focus in small business management and entrepreneurship. After graduation I continued to work for Farm Bureau in Halifax County. In September of 2007 I resigned from Farm Bureau and began my journey with Nationwide. I have never looked back! I completed an acquisition in April of 2016 in which we immediately began to continue and develop new relationships with the clients and give them confidence in the new ownership. We retained the associate that had been with the agency for over fifteen years and she is an incredible member of my team now! We successfully retained 95% of the book of business in the agency. My team and I continue to strive to satisfy our clients and build our agency. I continue to pursue acquisition opportunities as I come about them. 

Due to my entrepreneurial nature my wife and I have invested in and own two movie theater locations in Roanoke Rapids and in Elizabeth City, NC. We are looking to expand this business and grow in other small communities on the East Coast. We find great joy in providing a venue that families can come and be entertained and make memories. We believe that nothing can unite all different types of people greater than a movie theater can! We love the business!

Success Coaching has recently become a passion for me as I sought out and completed and am now certified through the Executive and Business Coaching Program at NC State University. I have attempted to coach for many years but now I have the knowledge and knowhow to help others to achieve their limitless potential! It has brought me great joy to work with all different types of clients of all different age, gender, and profession and see them continue on the path of success at an accelerated pace!
